There have been some changes to the original set up to the center due to the recent COVID mandates. To start with in November, I will have an open riding schedule to include the pricing of open riding that will also offer 2 days per week of some structure sessions utilizing the coaching software. The other days will be a standard open ride with a course where you can determine your own intensity. The trainer set up is quite different reducing the number of trainers from 15 to only 6 to ensure adequate distance from other riders. And added in increased cleaning protocol. Riders will be required to wear masks in and out of the gym, to including setting up and taking off bike and anytime getting off the bike. While riding it is the cyclists choice to wear a mask.
I will continue to monitor the COVID situation and come December and/or January may start to provide the Periodized Cycling Program in addition to the Open Riding sessions. Something to, Tuesdays 5:45 to 7:00pm and Wednesdays 5:30-7:00am Vo2 Sessions and Thursdays 6:30-7:45pm and Saturdays 6:30-7:45am Threshold Sessions. I would also add another kickr station where the number of riders would be staggered times however would allow for double the occupancy.

VIRTUAL CYCLING OPTION
I have partnered up with long-time friend and colleague, Robbie Ventura and Dave Noda to provide all MCC past riders and anyone else to a premier Virtual Cycling Opportunity. Join in LIVE sessions or do the workout on your own time at your own home using the recorded sessions. These sessions are designed and led by Vision Quest Coaching . Vision Quest has two locations in the Chicago area offering a variety of services including metabolic testing, coaching, a premier cycling training center and also offers cycling camps all over the world.

Days/Times
Sessions will target different energy systems. To begin with for the month of November, sessions will be about coming back to the basics and building eventually Tuesdays will be more Vo2 work, Thursdays more Lactate Threshold Work, Saturdays will be a mixture and Sundays are longer aerobic rides with podcasts. All sessions will be on a zoom call and as it is encouraged to be seen during the session to help the coach see you, you can also choose not have your video on. A smart trainer is highly recommended, however sessions can be done on a basic bike trainer.
